well i came across this coupon and it says
40% Off
the List Price of One Book
with Purchase of $20 or More
it says ONE book. i was wondering what if i buy 2 books over 20$ can i still use the coupon?
and do i have to be a member to use it?

Yes you must be rewards member…… Now as long as purchase totals over $20, then 40% comes off price of one book……

You have to have a Borders Rewards membership to use the coupon. A Borders Rewards membership is free, you just have to apply either in a store or online.
Yes, you can purchase two books using the coupon, but the coupon applies only to ONE of the two books. Be careful to tell the salesperson to apply the 40% to the more expensive book so long as its regular store price is $20+. The sales person will otherwise apply the discount to the cheaper of the two books. If they insist on doing it this way, force him/her to ring two separate transactions, and use the coupon for the more expensive of the two.
If each book is less than $20, you will not be able to get them to apply the discount to the higher priced item, unfortunately.

Borders Rewards coupons are programmed to automatically ring on the most expensive elligible item.
