Do Starbucks Recovery Coupons have tracking codes to which starbucks store it belongs to?

April 15th, 2008 · 4 Comments

Recovery Coupons are the things you get when they mess up your drink, and so next time you get a drink on them. Do the coupons have any kind of tracking to which store they were sent to? Like is there anyway to tell which store the coupon came from originally? Thanks!

they have a serial number so if starbucks realy need to track the orgin of the card , they can but why would they?
i work there and the card is valid all over the us and canada.
in case of fake cards the number wont match any other card number in the database.

No, they are all the same. Not because it's TOO confusing either, (which by the way was an ignorant statement). Because it would be a waste of time and money to print different numbers, bar codes, etc. Years ago they used to stamp the store number on each coupon but they stopped because no one cares. Mistakes happen.
