I am wanting to buy such a sign to post in front of my house, but can’t find it in the U.S…
I think it would be fun to post such a sign in front of my house in the U.S. … Not only would it show our family's Swedish heritage, but I think it would draw more attention than the typical signs in English. Maybe people would slow down just to figure out what the sign said!
But of course I would need a graphic on the sign to explain things, too (something to indicate children playing in the area)…

“Levande barn” = Alive children.
“Lekande barn” = Playing children.
But I must say I’m pretty curious why you would like to put up such a sign in the US?
