You need a converter box for each old analog TV that you own. SInce most households have multiple TVs, the government is subsidizing the purchase of two converter boxes. More than that and you're on your own.
For what it's worth, I got a DigitalStream DTX9900 at RadioShack and am very happy with it. It was $60 at the store, and $20 (plus tax) after applying my $40 coupon.
How many converters do you need in your home….one or two?
I have two coupons coming….but I only need one box.
So I'll give the other coupon to the shop and when one of my customers comes in needing a THIRD coupon, it'll be there for them to use….
Promotes customer happiness…..and that's what we want, our customers happy.

Yes, each household can get up to two coupons.
You need to buy two converters to use both coupons.
