What do you mean by coupon book? Like services you can do for free for your mom or something? I'm thinking maybe you should put a free cleaning for the whole house, or something that has to do with cleaning. Maybe a free massage. I really don't know, since I don't know your mom.
As a father and grandfather who sometime had to PUSH my daughters to do THEIR chores… Do NOT include any coupons that are your NORMAL chores or duties around the house.
Now if their are chores you HATE, and or WHINE when doing them… you could include a NUMBER of coupons for whine-free and cheerful completion of those tasks !!
Also, think of things your MOTHER enjoys or wishes she could do… cheerful-shopping-partner, painting her kitchen, cooking dinners, doing fingernails, etc.
My little Brother and I pooled our money when were 10 & 12 to get my Mom a 2 night stay at a local hotel… nothing fancy, just 48 hours of PEACE and QUIET !! She'd raised 4 boys, and just wanted a long tub-soak, glass of wine, and book without a single child or husband asking questions, making noise, etc.
