Is this coupon ebook worth anything?

April 15th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I bought this on ebay. It showed me how to get 10% off on Home Depot and Lowes products. It is updated frequently with link to 64 sites. Tell me if it is worth the trouble, please.

Since you already purchased it and we don't know for how much, I suggested it's a Moot point at this point.

My first notion in any case would be to contact HD and Lowes for its validity. Beyond that, the VALUE largely depends on what disclaimers might be included, and what you actually need to purchase. Certainly if it's EVERYTHING @ 10% off, that allows you an expanded range of shopping/choices.

No offense to any who clip and use coupons, and I have in the past, but so often I see people use them, often buying products they might not otherwise, to save a few pennies.

Certainly coupons or sales, price slashing deals, have an agenda. They not only benefit the manufacturers, but the individual stores as well. They offer a modest impulse, but more,,, they assume that while in a store, we may spend more on other items.

I'd check the validity first, then surf the links or products and decide the worth, by what savings to you comes from spending money on products you actually need.

Will coupons be the salvation for our economy? I doubt it. Example: a store offers % off a new flat screen TV. Perhaps a very large screen, while a slightly smaller screen sells for that "reduced" coupon price. I suspect what we WANT is not always, strictly what we NEED.
