I worked in the Philippines for six years in the 1980's. Since I was transferred to the states in 1988 I have made over twenty flights to and from the USA to the Philippines. See http://www.ricexpats.com . From many years of experience I am going to tell you right now there is no one airline that is cheaper than the other. These airlines compete against each other and because of fuel prices, weakening US Dollar and many other contributing factors the prices are constantly changing. The price of a flight to or from the Philippines to the states or vice versa today will not be the same price tomorrow. Also there are many Point of Entries in the USA. What International Airport you fly into also influences the ticket price.
It is my experience Philippines Airline flights are more expensive than other flights. My Filipina wife and I have been flying Northwest Airlines or one of its partners, China Airlines. We travel via these airlines because they are reasonable prices, we get air-miles and they have a major hub in on the west coast. Now for other travels NWA may not be as ideal. It all depends upon what Point of Entry you are flying into or leaving out of.
Here is my suggestion. Use popular Internet search engine Google at http://www.google.com.ph or http://www.google.com and search for airlines travel deals and shop around for the best deals.
After you think you found the best deal check with .http://www.uniorient.com/ My wife and I have used their services many times and are happy with their services. Good luck!
