Look around for a "farmer's market." Often, they can send you to the right place. I knew some rabbit breeders who had a sign that said, "Rabbits - For Pets Or Meat." They actually did good business.

Sysco Foods or any large restaurant grocery supplier. If you have a friend in a rest. ask them if you could piggyback your purchase on their order, just make sure you are there to pick it up very soon after the order arrives. I am a chef and I do this sort of thing all the time for people. Only it infuriates me when they leave it hanging around for days. Pay the owner personally so he doesn't get the idea that someone is stealing from him. O K you owe me.

You have to go to the widdle wabbit store. Go to the widdle wabbit department and ask the clerk where the widdle wabbit cage is located. They will let you pick out your own widdle wabbit to kill just like buying a wobster. You can dunk him in the widdle pot by his widdle ears. However, out of wespect for all the widdle wabbits in the world, would you mind waiting until after Easter as we need all the widdle wabbits to deliver the widdle eggs to all the good widdle boys and girls. It is only 5 more days so surely you can put it off until after that. If on the other hand you are asking now so you can eat a widdle wabbit for easter dinner, you are a bad bad man.

The bigger chain supermarkets usually have frozen rabbit. Winn Dixie in Fort Worth does.
