I am going to denver this weakend and I would like to try smoking it. I know it is legal now so how do I find it? Is it like a coffee shop or something?

It is legal by state law but not federal right. So as long as you don't get busted by a cop on the highway. You should be fine right. Where do you find it?

ive never been to denver personally so i wouldnt know.. in fact im pretty sure it is illegal there. but whatever id ask some locals and see what they say. someones sure to tell you where to get it

Marijuana is not legal in any place in the United States. It is not even actually "legal" in Amsterdam. Currently, there is no country that has completely legalized marijuana.

If you mean Denver in Amsterdam then you're on the right track. Look for a Coffee Shop, there you'll be able to buy a small quantity of weed for personal use.
If you mean Denver, Colorado. Look out, you may wind up in the big house and you wouldn't like that!

Marijuana is not legal in Denver.
The voters passed an initiative that makes it the police department's lowest law enforcement priority, but if they catch you for something else or if you smoke it in public they can write you a ticket. It's up to $100 fine.
BUT, you can buy week pretty easily in Civic Center Park, between the state capital and City Hall. There are lots of people there who will sell it to you.
OR SAFER Colorado, a pro-legalization group, is having an anniversary celebration Saturday night. Go to their website for address and time. You might be able to find someone who knows someone……… It isn't formal, but you need to dress decently, but don't dress like a narc or nobody will talk to you.
Medical marijuana is legal in Colorado, but you have to have a doctor's referral and a users' ID card from the Health Department.
