My computer has like 512 mb of ram. Not enough. I was looking in getting an upgrade, maybe about 1 or 2 gb, with out getting ripped off or anything. Best buy wouldnt work, their rams sell for over a hundred bucks :/

Crucial
http://www.crucial.com
I used orca logic for my Dell, it told me what I needed for the Dell Model I had, crucial comes with a memory scanner which tells you what ram you are using and what your system can get.

They have a plug in that you could run. It will tell you your current system configuration, as well as the max memory it will take. Don't make a mistake on buying the wrong memory
Good Luck

Try:
http://www.nextag.com/
The site searches for your item and compares to most electronic online stores like newegg, tigerdirect, amazon, ect.
