Hello! A junkyard is always a good source! Just make sure the engine block is worth it. I would recomend to get someone with the experience,to help you choose. Shop around your neighborhood. You may be surprised! There are plenty of websites to look up…but check on shipping charges/reliabilty before you order. Also how long before the item gets to you. You never mentioned what`s in your vehicle right now. So before taking a dive in the the deep end, consider what you already may have & factor the costs of rebuilding what you already have available. Good luck!

Junkyard, craigslist, ebay, local papers.. For used

For stock type rebuild.. Parts stores like auto zone, advance auto, etc.

For performance new engines.. GM performance parts through summit racing, jegs, jim pace performance, or even local chevy parts dealer, etc

A 350 is probably the most common engine ever made, you should not have any problems finding one.

It was a few years ago, so the price may be a little higher, but I got a Chevy 350 long block from Advance Auto parts. It came with a 1 year warranty and cost about $1,200. Doing a decent rebuild costs more than that and doesn't come with a warranty. Almost any decent auto parts store can help you.

      Scoggin Dickey Parts Center http://sdparts.com

If you are interested in a crate 350. If you want used, which you will probably have to rebuild go to a junk yard. Check local classified and craigslist.

All of these answers are good answers. Just keep in mind that the 350 engine is the best engine you could put into a vehicle, however the one thing to look for is where it was made. they have had alot of problems with the 350 engines that have NOT come out of Michigan. And that is very hard for me to say being a Ohio State fan LOL. But the 350's that are coming out of Michigan have been the best that I have ever heard of.
