Just contact one of the consumer reporting agencies and buy it from their site. You won't have to sign up for anything.

      Equifax - http://www.equifax.com
      Experian - http://www.experian.com
      TransUnion - http://www.transunion.com

However, if you're looking for your credit *report,* go here:

      http://www.annualcreditreport.com

which is the only place to get it for free.

Go to annualcreditreport.com. You are entitled to one free credit report from each of the three major bureaus, and this is the website to go through to get it. Once there they will offer to add your credit score to your report for a small charge (around $5-$10), since they aren't required to put the score on your actual free report.

There are a couple of website you can try, one is
      Annualcreditreport.com
      The other is freecreditreport.com
I have used others and just cancelled before my free trial was up. I have had no problems with that either. Good luck!

MyFico.com has an option to purchase your scores one time and you don't have to sign up for anything else.

      on edit:

Actually didn't deal with the other answers.

Annualcreditreport.com will NOT get you a FICO score.

If you go through Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion directly, you might get something other than a FICO score.

The place to get the only score that matters (i.e a FICO score) is from MyFico.com.

Try this one - http://creditreport.fateback.com - I monitor my credit score here during last 3 years. And also cleaned off some bad items from my credit report. You can apply for free initial plan and get your scores and reports for free.

      Free reports are available at
      http://www.annualcreditreport.com
but they lack a lot of the critical information that you would get from an actual mortgage report… And the scores do still cost money.

      http://www.creditgecko.com/creditreports.html
      http://www.bestcredityet.com/creditreports.html

There's a MyFico program that available on both of these sites that is perhaps a little more expensive than many of the alternatives, but it is typically closest to the actual scores you might see if you pull a lender's report.

If you have outdated, erroneous, or false information on your credit reports, even if you don't think it's hurting you that much, try…

      I hope this helps!
