Where to buy cheap curtains?

July 10th, 2009 · 3 Comments

I’m in the UK looking for curtains, but i need them to have a 300cm drop.
I can’t seem to find any longer than 228cm (which would just look silly), and I really can’t afford to pay £200 for made to measure curtains.
Any suggestions?

p.s. i have tried making them myself before. Never again, no way, not ever, don’t even bother to suggest it.

Use solid color bed sheets. White always looks clean and crisp. Use clip on curtain rings and hang from decorative curtain rods. If still not long enough. Buy fabric cut exactly the length you want and allow for a little longer length to use fabric fusing tape. You just place the tape along the edge, top and bottom and fold the fabric over the tape to make a hem and iron. It makes a neat hem and looks great.
