Where to buy clothes for small men?

September 6th, 2008 · 3 Comments

My husband is 5′6″, about 117 lbs. Where in the Dayton to Cincinnati area can I find dress pants & shirts to fit him? We’ve been to Walmart, Target, Sears, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Old Navy, TJ Maxx, and others. The smallest size we can find is a 28/32 & they’re still too big. Boys pants fit great around the waist, but they’re not long enough & he can only get the 1st 2 knuckles of his fingers into the pockets.

He’s starting a new job & their idea of business casual is crisply pressed dress pants & a long sleeved, collared buttun-up white shirt with no logos or pocket.

Thanks!

get boys “husky”, as they tend to be a little longer.

OR get them altered at the cleaners

It’s time to talk to a tailor. It’s going to cost more, but he will feel so much better about the fit.

Is there no Nordstrom in the area? If not, buy the larger size and see a tailor.
