Where to buy Japanese clothing online?

June 12th, 2008 · 7 Comments

I'm looking for Japanese clothing websites. (Shoes, shirts, dresses, accessories, etc.) I like clothing that is unique, but I could wear everyday. Nothing too exciting.

If anyone has been to Japan and been to Takeshita Dori or Harajuku Dori where there is a store with the Bunny head on a mannequin (the name of the store… i cant remember –something— rocket?). I like that kind of style. Funky/modern simple. =D

Thanks to all!!
**no traditional kimono sites thank you. im looking for CURRENT fashion, and not visuel kei, nor lolita, nor candy kid, etc.**

Simple, fashionable, yet unique. Thank you :D I don't think people understand what style I'm thinking of. Here are some visual examples:

I have been looking online forever for Japanese clothing websites and there isn't much. Most of the companies only ship within Japan and don't bother with other countries. YesStyle is the closest website I have found. You might get lucky on eBay or try Yahoo Japan auctions if you can get an account. Also, if you search on Google there are services in which people will act as a personal shopper and buy items and ship them to you.

      yesstyle.com
      dondaemun.com (english version is zipia.net)

zipia is the better of the two, but the minimum amount of clothing you have to buy is $500 dollars…and that's not even including shipping & handling.
