Hello. I bought a gorgeous pair of Manolo Blahnik mules from someone, but they have a few missing stones on a Swarovski crystal buckle (also called a “Diamante” buckle). I am assuming they are diamante stones. I need to buy about three very small ones to have a shoe maker replace them. When I called the Manolo Blahnik store they were not helpful and told me that a shoe maker could fix it. But I don’t think they have stones just sitting around at a shoe maker’s shop (do they?). Plus I need a very specific size for these stones (and I’m not even sure what size the stones are or how to go about measuring them). Could I buy loose diamante stones and have the shoe maker carve them down to fit? Where would I buy something like this? Are they all the same color or do they have different shades? Are all diamante stones created differently (like not all black clothes are the same shade of black)? I just don’t want to get stones that don’t have the same quality and sparkle as the ones that are still on the shoes now. Thanks for your help!

Michaedls MJ Designs if you have one in your area…or Hobby Lobby or E-Bay….Swarovski Crystals come in different colors….but they are colored stones…if yours looks like diamonds then they are all the same….take your boots with you and just hold the stone up to the one in the packages and you should be able to measure them up by eye….Here is the website for Manolo Blahnik…..
