Does anyone know of a web site or e-store that sells large pearl tapioca? I bought some from an Asian grocery. When I used it it turned to mush. I would like to find the kind that retains its shape and texture. BTW, the instant kind sold in most groceries is not what I’m looking for. Thank you.
To all of you that said I over cooked it, I let it set in warm water for 10 minutes. I hardly thing that can be called "over-cooked"

I don’t think the product is the problem, you just over-cooked it. Cook until it is just clear or even ever so slightly under (as it will continue to absorb & cook after you have taken it off the heat).
I have never seen “instant” tapioca in my area.

Yup i agree w/”Sharon I”, you must’ve over cooked them since they turned mushy…It’s not where or what kind you buy, it’s how the cooking technique would have been made; try it again and see if they are more firmer this time…Good luck
