I thinking about getting a split A\c on the 2nd story of my house since a window ac would ruin the whole look of my house. The whole reason why I want this is because my room is over the garage which can be pretty hot complared to the rest of the house. Where can I go in PA to look at the models and displays? Also how much can I expect to pay for a professional install to do the whole job or partical (such as refrig work). I'm pretty handy guy when it comes to electrical, plumbing and routing wires and stuff through walls so I thought I could knock out some work myself. Also are any of these units on ebay any good? 500 dollar range sounds good but I'm afraid it might be cheap quality and loud. Please help, I can't afford to spend over 1000 including install.
