Where to buy stocks online if I am only looking to buy once?

November 21st, 2008 · 1 Comment

I am considering buying some GM stocks for the long term… I’m not looking to invest a whole lot. But I only want to make a 1 time purchase. I want to trade online for a cheap fee but I don’t want monthly fees because I don’t plan on buying anything again. Where is the best place to do this online for the cheapest?

      scottrade.com no monthly fee/ Only 7 dollars a trade
you can get 3 free trades by using Referred by code: XMKT0575

This is what i use. You need At least 500 dollars to put into the account. You don't have to buy 500 dollars worth of gm but you need at least this in the account at the start.

In my view Gm is not a good investment. Just because they might get a bailout doesn't mean the stock will go up. Look at the Freddie Mac, they got a bailout and their stock is worthless. Then if you take that into consideration they might not even get a bailout or it might come to late.
If you want a long term investment i would buy oil stocks they're low and they will go up a lot in a few years.
