My last two bikes came from ebay. I totally agree with the other answer though. No money should change hands until you actually see the bike and title.
There was just a 1100 Katana for sale locally on Craigslist too. They wanted $1,800. I used to have one. It’s a great, powerful, and good looking old hypersport.
woah, u live real close to me. i live near you around Rollins but i went to a place called Seminole Powersports. They have virtually everything there. but with a 1500 dollar budget i guess you should be looking online instead of going to a dealership.
My advice would be to save another $500 - $1000 and get a much nicer bike. I been in your position bought a few cheap bikes that just needed a little work, being new to bikes I didn’t know how to work on them and didnt really have the money to put into them anyway and they pretty much sat idle besides cruising my neighborhood. Well 3 bikes later and I finally got smart and found a used 1994 Suzuki Intruder 800 at the dealer with only 1200 miles on it, got it for $2300. I t’s an excellent biike and hasn’t given me any problems. I woudl say be patient and save up another $500 and you’ll be much happier with the quality of bike you get even in that small jump from $1500 to $2000 or maybe even $2500.

check craigslist.com in your area. If someone wants to ship it to ya, don’t buy from them. Buy only a bike you can go see before any money is given.
