i am looking for a tri-colored cavalier king charles because they are the best dogs for my kind of family. i am looking for ones that are bread in MI and are less then 1000 dollars. but i am not looking for a big dog i am looking at puppies for christmas

I don't think your going to find "bread" dogs.
To find a reputable breeder, try searching the AKC site.

contact the National breed club. They can point you to good breeders in your area. This breed is very prone to heart problems so you want to be sure to use a good breeder who does health test on the breeding dogs Hearts before breeding them. You should know any breeder worth the name will NOT allow puppies to got to a new home on Christmas. Too much activity and potential for the pups to get hurt, run out and lost etc..

If you want to buy bread, you buy it at supermarkets. If you want to buy purebred CKC Spanials, you should buy one from reputable breeders, not pet stores and backyard breeders. If you cannot afford the price to purchase a puppy, maybe you should consider to find one from the rescue. Remember to do extensive research to find your “perfect” puppy, not to rush.
