Why doesn't Congress make it a LAW that gas companies be FORCED to tell us from where they BUY their gas?

If these companies are forced to EXPLAIN to their customers from where they purchase their gas, you would see HUGE shifts in buying patterns. These statistics would be made available to everyone online, and if these "leaders" in Congress had the nads, the companies would be forced to put a sign underneath the PRICE of the gas that tells everyone from where the company gets its gas.

Cause the government is in on this too. They make more money on taxes than the gas companies do in profits.
